PointsBet reported group revenue of A$112.7 million for the six months ended 30 September 2026, down 16% from A$134.9 million a year earlier. Weaker Australian sports betting was the main drag on performance, while the operator continued to develop its Canadian business.

Australia remains under pressure

Australian sports betting revenue declined 19% to A$91.8 million and betting handle fell 14% to A$1.03 billion. Group net win decreased 17% to A$122.1 million. The company said its high-value customer cohort had recorded sustained double-digit declines in turnover and revenue following proactive compliance measures.

In Canada, cash active clients rose 18% to 72,793. Canadian iGaming handle increased 21% to C$592.9 million, although sports betting handle fell 32%. PointsBet is targeting a launch of sportsbook and casino products in Alberta before the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Commercial context

The results show contrasting performance across the operator’s markets and product verticals. Affiliates evaluating PointsBet or comparable brands should consider local market maturity, player mix and the relative contribution of casino and sports betting rather than relying on group-level growth alone.
