Octoplay entered New Jersey in June 2025 through BetMGM, since adding Rush Street, Hard Rock Bet and Bet365
Octoplay has been ranked #1 in the Supplier Summary – Overall (Supplier >2 per cent GGR) category in the United States for the sixth month running, according to the EILERS-FANTINI Online Game Performance Reports covering April, May, June, July, August and September ’26. The sustained placement comes less than a year after the studio’s stateside debut.
The ranking rests on two of the most competitive iGaming states in the country. Octoplay entered New Jersey in June 2025 through BetMGM, adding Rush Street Interactive and Hard Rock Bet in the same state within three months and going live with bet365 there earlier this year. In December 2025, the company executed its largest U.S. market entry to date by launching in Michigan simultaneously with BetMGM, FanDuel, Fanatics and Rush Street Interactive. A recently granted Interim Authorization in Pennsylvania opens the next state on the roadmap.
Across North America, the same trajectory has played out in Canada, where Octoplay is live in Ontario and, since this year, Alberta. The Alberta launch went live with seven tier-one operators on the market’s opening day in June, surpassing Michigan as the company’s largest coordinated entry in any market.
“New Jersey and Michigan, two of the most competitive iGaming states in the US, took us to number one and kept us there for six months. Pennsylvania is our third U.S. state and comes next, with several more before the end of the year. Operators have seen what our games do in the hardest lobbies in the country, and that is what we bring into every new state,” says Ralitsa Georgieva, CEO at Octoplay.
Octoplay is approved to operate across 20 regulated markets, including Malta, the UK, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Italy, Belgium, Georgia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, Finland, Brazil, New Jersey, Michigan, Ontario, Croatia, Alberta, and Pennsylvania, with further U.S. state applications in progress.
