Local officials, including Mayor Bruno Cousein, were present to commend the work accomplished since the takeover
The Infiniti Casino in Berck-sur-Mer, has now celebrated its official inauguration in the Pas-de-Calais.
For the occasion, the top management of the Belgian group traveled to Berck-sur-Mer, accompanied by the directors of its other gaming establishments in Ostend and Dinant in Belgium, as well as in Grasse . Local officials, including Mayor Bruno Cousein, were also present to commend the work accomplished since the takeover of operations by Jesús Espino, CEO and casino manager, and his team.
On the forecourt of the former bus station, a large crowd gathered, demonstrating the anticipation surrounding the Belgians, who have integrated remarkably quickly into the local community. Even the Pas-de-Calais sun, hidden behind thick clouds all day, welcomed the new operator and, in its own way, joined the festivities by bathing the casino in its rays at the time of the inauguration. This delighted the 350 guests who enjoyed a buffet prepared by the chefs of Brassi, the establishment’s bistro-style restaurant, on the casino’s spacious terrace.
As reported by Journal des Casinos, Jurgen De Munck, Executive Chairman of Infiniti Casino, said: “When we discovered this project, we immediately believed in the potential of Berck-sur-Mer: it is a dynamic, tourist, family-friendly town with a real identity. Our ambition was to create much more than a casino: a true place to live. I thank all the teams who have supported us and invested themselves in this project.”
Jesús Espino, CEO and casino manager, said: “I am very happy and particularly moved to inaugurate the Infiniti Casino in Beck-sur-Mer. I would like to thank the municipal team, and especially the mayor, Bruno Cousein, for their trust, availability, and support. I would also like to thank the men and women whose commitment is essential to a project of this scale. I also thank Jurgen de Munck, my chairman, for the trust he has placed in me. It represents a great responsibility, but also a great source of pride. We have renovated this building to usher it into a new era. We have created a modern, elegant, welcoming, and comfortable casino. Our ambition now is to make it a key location in the life of Beck-sur-Mer and our region.”
Major Bruno Cousein added: “It’s a real pleasure to be here this evening to inaugurate the Infiniti casino in Berck-sur-Mer, in this municipal building whose history began in 1909. Today, this modernised establishment takes on a new dimension and is now at the heart of a cultural and leisure hub. This happy transition comes after a series of legal twists and turns worthy of the best American TV series.”

Thank you to the Infiniti Group for taking on this responsibility, which wasn’t necessarily anticipated, of maintaining the salaries of all employees for their unwavering determination, despite certain pressures and attempts at intimidation.”

After several months of complete renovation, carried out in record time and representing an investment of between six and eight million euros, the casino is shining brightly. From the moment you enter, the Infiniti Casino touch is evident. After registering, a standard practice within the Belgian group, to fully benefit from all the features offered by the DRGT management system, and swiping your card at the elegant stainless steel and glass gates, you are immersed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thick blue carpeting bearing the Infiniti Casino logo and a stylish horseshoe-shaped bar highlight the 71 state-of-the-art slot machines, 20 electronic English roulette stations, and two Blackjack tables. At the back of the casino, next to the cashiers, a pleasant smoking area includes about twenty booths and, most notably, a superb Spintec Charisma electronic English roulette table with 12 betting stations and two reels.
On the other side of the casino, behind the bar, is Brassi, the restaurant, which offers a quality local menu and has, in just a few weeks, forged a solid reputation in Berck-sur-Mer and the surrounding area. While the Belgian group quickly established itself in the Pas-de-Calais region, the residents of Berck, in turn, quickly made themselves at home in Infiniti’s new setting and readily extend their evenings there.
