Dilanti Media has initiated a top-level leadership transition, with founder and Chief Executive Officer, Johan Styren, moving into the position as Chairman.

The Malta-based iGaming affiliate group, set up by Styren in 2018, has chosen Daniel Prado as its founder’s successor in the CEO position. He has been working at the company for two years as Head of SEO.

Dilanti Media has described the leadership transition as an important step in the business’ development, with Styren to remain involved in long-term strategy, particularly with regards to identifying and developing new business areas, products, and opportunities.

As the new CEO of the company, Prado will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations as an international iGaming affiliate business, as well as monitoring business performance and execution of key strategic directives.

“I am delighted to welcome Daniel as the new CEO of Dilanti Media,” said Styren. “I have great confidence in his ability to lead the company into its next phase of development.

“His experience, leadership and vision make him well suited to take on this responsibility, and I look forward to seeing what we can achieve together. While I am stepping away from the CEO role, my commitment to Dilanti Media remains as strong as ever.

“As Chairman, I will continue to work closely with Daniel and the team, focusing particularly on exploring new business areas, developing innovative products and identifying opportunities that can contribute to the company’s long-term growth.”

The leadership change comes amid Dilanti navigating, like other iGaming affiliate businesses, the changing nature of its industry in 2026, with the impacts of AI on SEO and traffic now plain to see.

As Prado’s prior job title with Dilanti suggests, he is an experienced SEO professional. Before joining Dilanti in 2024, he worked at Maltese SEO agency Aphex Media as Head of Search, and was also SEO Director at online bookmaker EBET.

He has also worked in SEO roles at Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) and Catena Media.

“I’m grateful for the trust Johan and the board have placed in me,” Prado remarked.

“Dilanti Media has a great team and a strong foundation, and my priority is to build on it by strengthening our core business, improving how we execute, and growing into new areas.

“Having Johan’s continued involvement as Chairman gives us a real advantage as we explore new opportunities. I’m excited for what’s ahead and look forward to leading the company into its next phase.”
