ComeOn Group has appointed three key figures to its leadership team as part of its next growth phase.

The Malta-headquartered operator has onboarded Alex Woodhams as Chief Product Officer, Sara Nunes as General Manager for Finland and Kristoffer Ottosson as Director of IT Operations.

It also has a new Chief Operating Officer, as Sherwin Jarvand has been promoted from his previous position of Chief Growth Officer.

Woodhams joined the company’s London office on Monday, bringing industry experience from his five-year-long role as CPO at Racing Post owner Spotlight Sports Group

He has also worked with major global brands across a variety of sectors, including Tesco, Dell, O2 and Just Eat

ComeOn over to Finland

Nunes, meanwhile, arrives at ComeOn carrying a wealth of industry experience from businesses such as High Roller Technologies, Rootz, Kindred Group and Betsson Group.

It looks as though ComeOn is setting its sights on Finland, with the market set to open to betting companies as it moves away from its monopoly model held by Veikkaus

ComeOn is expected to be one of over 50 firms who will enter the market in July 2027, and it already has Scandinavian experience via its Snabbare brand in Sweden and Casinostuen in Denmark.

Nunes’ appointment is the company’s first real sign of interest in joining a wide range of rival operators in the Finnish market next year.

Ottosson, the firm’s new Director of IT Operations, joins from iGaming IT provider Internet Vikings, where he spent four years as COO.

His extensive experience of building and scaling technology operations will help him to lead the group’s IT operations function.

On the executive-level reshuffling, Juergen Reutter, Chief Executive Officer at ComeOn Group, said: “We are building ComeOn for its next stage of growth, and having the right leadership and capabilities across the organisation is a fundamental part of that.

“Alex, Sara and Kristoffer bring deep expertise across three areas that are increasingly important to our strategy – product, local market leadership and technology.

“At the same time, Sherwin’s promotion to Chief Operating Officer recognises the significant contribution he has already made to ComeOn and gives him a broader mandate across our customer-facing operations.

“Together, these appointments strengthen an already experienced leadership team and put us in an even stronger position to execute our ambitions in our regulated markets.”
